| We downhiked from Lava Point trailhead, so we mostly lost elevation, with about 1500 ft gain. This is the first scenic viewpoint. |         This looked like a perfect little plateau to hang out on, with hoodoos and all - except impossible to get up to |   My tent among the pine needles.
